Greetings from the distinguished women of Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., located in Suffolk County, Long Island (NY), and the historic Eastern Region of our beloved Sorority.

 

Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter (SCAC) has developed a rich history since our charter on April 23, 1989. Our chapter consists of professional, energetic, and dynamic women who remain steadfast and devoted to the vision, mission, and principles of the Sorority. The members of the Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter are dedicated to providing an array of public service initiatives centered on the Sorority's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Empowering our youth to succeed in their educational endeavors is paramount. We proudly announce that Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter awards progressive scholarships to graduating high school seniors. We are pleased with our accomplishments over the years and the lives improved by our efforts.

 

I am forever grateful to our members for their dedication and commitment and look forward to taking leaps into the 2022-2024 biennium.  We will carry out the vision of our 22 trailblazing Founders and our 27 visionary Charter Members and continue to do the work of Delta. Let us not forget the 34 historical years; we have pridefully served the Suffolk County community through scholarship, service, sisterhood, and social action.
