About the event
The Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter (SCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is partnering with Mary Reid, the Chair of the Political Education Committee of the First Baptist Church of Bayshore, the Islip Town Branch of the NAACP, and the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. to host a VIRTUAL Meet the Candidates Forum on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
The Political Education Chair of The First Baptist Church of Bayshore invited all candidates on ballots in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, to attend this event. Those candidates who accept the invitation will make remarks, inform the public of their experience and policy beliefs and answer questions from the public. As you know, all elections are critical, so we are committed to helping inform and educate our community on who the candidates are and where they stand on issues of concern to our community.
