Please join us as we learn the basic cardiac life support (BCLS) techniques to know what to do in the case of a cardiac emergency. Performing BCLS buys precious time until advanced medical teams arrive and may prevent death or serious long lasting disabilities. The Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter (SCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s Emergency Response Team, in conjunction with the SCAC Physical and Mental Health Committee and the Suffolk County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has arranged for a BCLS/CPR Session to be provided by the Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corps (WWHAC) on May 18th, 2024. The sessions are open to everyone.
