Message from the President of

Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter

I bring you greetings from Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, which is located in Suffolk County, Long Island, of the “Dynamic Eastern Region”. Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter, chartered on April 23, 1989 currently consist of fifty-one professional, energetic women who remain steadfast and devoted to the vision, mission and principles of the Sorority.

The members of Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter are dedicated to providing public service initiatives centered on our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Economic Development
Educational Development
International Awareness & Involvement
Physical & Mental Health
Political Awareness & Involvement

We invite you to take a cyber tour through our website and learn about the diverse community service programs that we provide to the citizens of Suffolk County. Empowering our youth to succeed in their educational endeavors is paramount, therefore we are proud to announce that Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter awards progressive scholarships as well as incentives awards to graduating high school seniors.

 Special Thanks to Gershow Recycling

On April 2, 2011 Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter received $500 from Gershow Recycling to support physical and mental health programs provided by the chapter.
